After going through my list of pet hates and things that annoy me, I initially decided that I wanted to explore the colour yellow. My hate for this colour stems back to when I was a child, and one of the opposing teams on sports day was 'Skiddaw', who used yellow. Ever since then, I have always disliked the colour. It's garish and in your face, and although it is associated with happiness and optimism, this is not how it makes me feel. I don't necessarily dislike objects that are yellow, for example bananas, however it is a colour I would always steer clear from in terms of design and clothing.
I therefore want to see how I can use illustration to explore my dislike for this colour. This may be through using the colour itself, yellow objects, or through quotes and type. I want to make sure I keep this brief light hearted and humorous in terms of it's tone of voice.
