M&S - final images

Below are our final images for our Marks and Spencer picnic. Due to lack of experience with the photo studio, I feel that our images haven't came out as good as they could have. I am extremely pleased with our overall product, and it got great feedback, however I feel our photographs don't do it justice. It was quite a tricky product to photograph in terms of fitting all the products in the frame, whilst picking up on the detail of the packaging.

If we were to re-take our images, I would definitely reconsider the use of lighting. The studio that we were in was extremely dark, and therefore we needed a range of lights to shine on our products. We were advised to place a light beneath the table the products sat on, however this hasn't worked in our favour in our photographs. The light from underneath is not shining in the right places, and therefore this made it very difficult to edit. A lot of the images needed to be made brighter, changing the levels, as they were rather dark, dull and orangey. However, when attempting this, it simply made the area of light shine brighter, and it was hard to get a good balance.

Despite this, I am still extremely pleased with how effective the final products are and with the execution and time we put into crafting each item. They work well as a set, but also work as a stand alone product.
