CATH KIDSTON - in store visuals

In order to get a general feel of the Cath Kidston brand, I decided to visit and get a general feel of the store and it's brand values. Unfortunately I was told that I wasn't allowed to take photographs, therefore I was restricted in how much I could document, but I was still able to visit and see the surroundings. 



Cath Kidston is known for being quite quirky and individual, which was reflected within it's store decoration. Vintage photographs and frames were used around the store to create a sort of "home" within the retail environment. These were place on Cath Kidston wallpaper, which effectively showed to the customer how this visual could be applied within their own space. 


Around the store vintage furniture and objects were used to display their products, creating a really interesting and homely atmosphere. The settings built up an identity for Cath Kidston that individuals could relate to and recreate. Situations like this make people want to purchase the products in order to exist within a certain lifestyle.
