Bodycare
The Champney's products appear quite dated in terms of their visuals and use of the gold trim and lids. Whilst the gold is intended to add expensive and luxury to the product, the cheap plastic devalues the product, making them appear quite tacky. Whilst many of the products are quite bright, there is nothing about the design that makes them stand out on the shelf. However, you can tell that they are consistent in terms of working as part of a range.

The use of different containers and packaging adds an element of difference to the range, whilst keeping the visuals consistent in terms of pattern colour and type. The Champney's logo appears throughout as the main hierarchical type, whilst the rest of the text is kept clean, simple and to the point. Whilst this packaging works, there is nothing massively inviting about the products, and they would not appeal to a younger audience amongst similar items within a high street store. We therefore need to consider ways in which we can adapt the packaging to target a new user through colour, type and pattern.
