Steph began to develop some logos whilst we were together so that we could both go through and decide what we felt was the most effective. This way, we could both contribute to the development, creating what we thought was the most appropriate design. Some initial typefaces were chosen that would compliment with the Champneys logo, including Gill Sans, Kelson Sans, News Gothic and Nexa.
We tried to incorporate colour, line and illustration to create something that was fun, young and eye catching. During this process, however, we struggled to develop something that we both really loved. We therefore decided that we would produce the pattern illustrations first in order to gain some inspiration and produce something that would work effectively alongside the design.
