In order to get the right sizing for the individual products, we decided to mock up the labels ourselves and stick them onto each product. As the type throughout has been left aligned, this is how we would keep the labels. We felt that each product should have two labels, like the packaging, so that the product inside could be seen through the plastic jar or bottle.
Using the measurements we had gathered from the mocking up process, we began to put the labels together digitally, keeping everything lined aligned making it a consistent set.

Before moving on to the reverse ingredients labels, it was decided that it would be best to print out some tests to see how the labels looked on the bottles and jars. Once we had done this we realised that we hadn't fully thought them through. There were two main issues, the first being that the labels were way too plain. When standing alone with no packaging, there was no longer any pattern on the product, which was one of our main aspects. The second issue was that the left aligned text on each label didn't work effectively. As your point of vision would normally head towards the centre of the product, this is where the text on the label should be. On products such as the moisturiser and exfoliator, where your eyes first went to wasn't where there was any text, therefore this needed to be altered.
