CATH KIDSTON - idea development

The theme that I have decided to go for for my conversational print circles around the idea of Cath's rural childhood in Hampshire/Wiltshire and her country Georgian home. I wanted to choose something that was applicable for all three product categories - women's fashion, women's accessories and home. With the conversational prints, a lot of them are targeted at a younger audience, as the subjects relate to childhood. I want to relate to childhood in a different way, so that the pattern will catch the eye of the intended target audience, offering them a print that they would be willing to wear. I want to make sure that my print is feminine, individual and creative.

Below I have explored the different aspects that could come under the umbrella of Cath's childhood within her country home.
